Saudi Arabia, which is officially called the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is a country located in Asia, more precisely in the Middle East. The country borders Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Yemen. The predominant climate in the Saudi Arabia region is the hot arid and a small area to the north with a subtropical climate.

The territory of Saudi Arabia is located on the Arabian Peninsula. The country’s capital is the city of Riyadh and the language spoken in the territory is Arabic. The government regime adopted is absolute monarchy and its independence was declared on January 8, 1926. The country occupies an area of ​​2,149,690 km 2 , where approximately 25.7 million residents live. In the economy, it stands out in the production of oil, since it houses the largest reserve of this ore in the world. With the implementation of irrigation techniques, Saudi Arabia has managed to cultivate several crops, with emphasis on the production of wheat, date, tomato, watermelon, barley, grape, cucumber, pumpkin, eggplant, potato, carrot and onion.

Saudi Arabia is internationally recognized as a country that violates religious freedom due to Islamic fundamentalism, which does not allow the manifestation of another religion in public. Despite this, there is still more than 92.83% of Muslims, 4.54% of Christians, 0.60% of Hindus, 0.42% of Buddhists, 0.19% Sikhism, 0.02% Baháí Faith, and the 1.4% who do not practice any religion.
