Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville
The Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville is by far the largest performing arts center in Arkansas and is located on the University of Arkansas campus. It was opened in 1992 and nowadays offers theater productions as well as musical performances. The Walton Arts Center is also the home of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas.

Arkansas Arts Center The Little Rock Arkansas Arts Center is an art museum founded in 1960. However, its history dates back to 1914 at the Fine Arts Club of Arkansas. The Arkansas Arts Center collection includes design items, paintings, and graphics. The focus of the collection is on European and American art that spans from the Renaissance to the present. The collection includes works by Vincent van Gogh, Georgia O’Keeffe, Rembrandt van Rijn, Paul Cézanne, Jackson Pollock, Peter Paul Rubens, Claude Monat, Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso and Albrecht Dürer.

Little Rock’s
William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park The Little Rock city’s William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park houses the presidential library of former President Bill Clinton. The William J. Clinton Presidential Center was opened in 2004 by George W. Bush. The William J. Clinton Presidential Center is housed in a modern concrete and glass construction. The William J. Clinton Presidential Center’s collection includes 2 million photographs, 76 million pages of books and documents, 21 million emails, and 80,000 gifts and other items from the Clinton Presidency. Another highlight is the replica of the Oval Office.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville
The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, in the city of Bentonville in the far northwest of Arkansas, is an art museum that was founded by the Wal-Mart heiress Alice Walton. The museum focuses on American art from colonial times to the present day. Highlights of the collection include works by Asher Brown Durand, Charles Willson Peale, Gilbert Stuart, Andy Warhol and Nick Cave. The museum was opened in 2011.

Arkansas Museum of Science and History in Little Rock
The Arkansas Museum of Science and History is located in the city of Little Rock, more precisely in the historic downtown area in the River Market District. The museum was founded in 1927. The collection of the museum is extensive but has no real focus. There are exhibits on the history of the indigenous people, a petting zoo and many other interactive exhibits.

Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas in Pine Bluff
The Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, in the town of Pine Bluff in southeast Arkansas, is an art museum from 1968. Arts and Science offers over 2,000 m² of exhibition space Center for Southeast Arkansas has a collection of paintings, sculptures, photography, drawings and prints. These have a regional character and focus on the works of African American artists from Arkansas.

Monuments and memorials
Arkansas Post National Memorial at Gillett
The Arkansas Post National Memorial near Gillett in southeast Arkansas is a memorial to the first European settlement in the Lower Mississippi Valley, a battle in the American Revolutionary War, the first capital of the Arkansas Territory and a battle of the civil war. The memorial is located on a peninsula in the Arkansas River. In 1929, today’s Arkansas Post National Memorial was founded as a state park and since 1960 the memorial has been a National Monument. The memorial covers an area of 3.06 km².

Pea Ridge National Military Park
Pea Ridge National Military Park is located in the far northwest of Arkansas near Garfield. The park conserves the former battlefield of the Battle of Pea Ridge, also known as the Battle of the Elkhorn Tavern. This took place in 1862 during the American Civil War. The Pea Ridge National Military Park covers an area of approximately 17 km² and was established in 1966. The park also serves to commemorate and commemorate the battle and there are also numerous historical buildings, hiking trails and a museum.

Arkansas State Capitol Monuments
