Although we our site recent years increasingly has come to highlight the Italian companies and brands when it comes to stylish fashion so you can not get out that much of the very classic and tailored fashions originated in London. We may find that the British classic fashion can tend to be a bit stereotypical and well classic. However, there are exceptions, and as of this week, our site to do a British initiative and highlight brands, manufacturers and stores, mainly from London we do succeed to the British tradition of craftsmanship in the 2000s and has that extra something that appeals US.
To really offer you something really interesting, we travel to London at the end of this week and can already tempt you with a range of interesting visits that the coming weeks will be displayed here.
First, and perhaps least “British” of what we want to highlight our London Specialty, is Trunk Clothiers, a shop whose webshop we have previously written about here at our site. The shop was founded by the Swede Mats Klingberg three years ago, recently celebrated the 3 year anniversary. An evening which was celebrated with a party at the shop and which includes a representative from Drake’s sewed the last step on the navy blue cashmere ties that store had selected as the anniversary model.
The shop is according to us right now one of London’s most interesting with a lovely mix of Italian, Swedish and Japanese. It is located in the cozy Marylebone, just north of Oxford Street. Just the feeling of the store and mix of brands provides just the right dose hiptster, sprezz, classic and fashion. Some of the brands Trunk sell are Drake’s, Camoshita, Gitman Bros., Beams +, Boglioli, Our Legacy, Alden, Aspesi, Caruso, Glanshirt, Macintosh, and others.
Have you not passing London so there is a certain range also represented on their web shop;
