Belvest is undoubtedly one of the top coat and suit manufacturers on the Swedish market. With a northern Italian history and skyline as well as a craft world-class, it is easy to understand Belvest greatness. The autumn collection is photographed in his hometown of Venice and includes patterns, materials and cuts that really inspires. (more…)
Brunello Cucinelli has been a faithful favorite here at our site recent years and fall makes us not to change that perception. Cucinelli has in recent years more or less defined the Italian men’s fashion and made a substantial contribution to a culture of casual stylish fashion where formal and vacant garments combined and the materials will be in focus. (more…)
Sober saturated colors are notoriously steady feature here at our site. Today we wanted to highlight an Italian manufacturer with a slightly different design philosophy. Sartoria Rossi is now combining well-sewn clothing with bold prints and bright colors. Perhaps a much needed element of the darker autumn. (more…)
Autumn is now since some time back on us, but there’s still fall collections to illustrate. Some time ago we wrote about Gieves & Hawkes who launched the collection “Gentleman’s Wardrobe” made entirely in the UK. Today we look at another one of those classic British namely Hackett, a brand that is often referred to […]
One of Italy’s top fashion brands within the jacket and suit the segment is Lardini. The company produced long jackets for large parts of the industry, and brands such as Burberry and Dolce Gabbana. A few years ago they chose, like many others trying to strengthen its own brand and has been the least successful […]
After a few days of absence we turn now to the full with a cavalcade of inspiration from men’s fashion mecca number one; Pitti Uomo in Florence. We are on site and will post pictures from both exhibition stands and visitors own style in a series of articles.
Now we start again in earnest after the winter break and the Pitti Uomo and looks today almost on a trademark not received as much attention here at our site. This concerns Hardy Amies, a manufacturer dating back to Savile Row and has some gold nuggets in its range.
We often focus on the tailoring fashion but that does not mean we do not like and are inspired by casual interpretations of masculine style. Suede jacket is for us a garment with a pair of dressed cotton or flannel pants and a shirt can be a great alternative to the jacket for the weekend.
Cesare Attolini is a given element in our collection coverage here at our site. Italy’s (and perhaps the world) in many eyes the best clothing manufacturer recently released its spring collection. Not surprisingly, it is not about some significant changes but the focus is on incorruptible quality, craftsmanship and materials. What, however, can clearly see […]
Winter is upon us and summer suits feels remote but planning for the spring shopping starts early. Next brand in the coverage of the spring collections are Italian Tombolini. The company is one of several in the middle price range around 6000-8000kr for a suit with actors Boglioli, Lardini, Lubiam and Cantarelli. Tombolini have for […]
Our coverage of the spring collections continues today with one of the Italian suppliers who have taken the Swedish market by storm. These are Lubiam in Sweden mainly succeeded with the younger line LBM 1911 but also has a slightly more tailored as Luigi Bianchi Mantova.
It is often very tailored and dressy here on our site but we think it’s great to highlight the influences from different corners of male fashion. One example is perhaps most interesting spring outerwear namely Field Jacket. Preferably in a functional lättviktstyg with water repellent properties that facilitate a Swedish spring.
One of our absolute favorites from Southern Italy and the company behind the Pitti Uomo fair-perhaps prettiest booth is Isaia Napoli. The company does something that few in the industry have mastered or dare to venture on and it is the combination of playfulness and a osviktande quality. The spring collection is no exception where […]
Cooperation between Savile Row tailors Norton & Sons and the iconic ytterplaggfföretaget Barbour is perhaps no direct news. Already last year launched the first collection together. A collection where Patrick Grant had to loosen up a little more than usual and design a small collection available for Barbour Beacon Heritage line.
Next crackling spring collection ready to be seen in the seams are from Italian Pal Zileri. Now we have written about before here on our site and produces consistently well-made as well as well-designed products, but may lack some of the strong brand Caruso, Zegna and Corneliani in Sweden. If we focus on the garments […]
We continue on the wrapped British track and thought today focus on the spring collection from Britain’s equivalent of Ralph Lauren. It is the fashion house Hackett has spun on the concept of “The Leading Man” from the autumn collection and also this year it’s Pierce Brosnan as a model for the collection.
Spring jackets can easily sound like the trend but today we thought rather focus on jackets for spring where the material and hue is especially suitable together with a lighter vårpalett. As the classic men’s fashion has the advantage of being fairly timeless, a blazer to be an investment over quite a few years and […]
Last week we showed up this spring’s campaign of Gabucci with Lalle Johnson model. Today it’s time for another of Stockholm prominent shops, namely Rose & Born on Grevgatan also chosen to make a spring campaign for the store’s selection. Rose & Born focusing on mainly garments under their own line of spiced with external […]
In the fall, we grazed by some of winter wardrobe cornerstones of spring most of us it is not right that we look at some of the upcoming season’s classics. Today we focus on one of the more casual but oh so stylish choices you can cover a tanned torso during the summer months namely […]
